WPT® SEASON X SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT
Los Angeles, CA (June 27, 2011) - Huge television ratings jump. Successful international and domestic expansion. Explosive social gaming results. New talent. New attitude. New casinos and extensions with some of our longtime partners. A full schedule of regional events. Overall, Season IX was a banner year for the World Poker Tour®.
And we’re just getting warmed up. Just wait to see what we have in store for Season X.
Announcements about new on-air additions, big changes and eye-popping enhancements to the overall WPT product for Season X will be made at a press conference on the morning of Day 1A of the Legends of Poker Main Event on August 25, 2011.
There will also be a European press event prior to Day 1 of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris, hosted at the Aviation Club de France. The WPT will be bringing Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, Kimberly Lansing, Tony Dunst and the Royal Flush Girls to France for the televised tour stop and will discuss European expansion and the WPT’s emphasis on big-time championship events on the continent.
Until then, World Poker Tour is pleased to be able to release the schedule for the first half of Season X. Celebrating ten successful years, the WPT rolls into Slovenia on July 17 and arrives on U.S. soil for the Legends of Poker Main Event on August 25 from the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, CA.
Additional events will be announced throughout the year.
