Ognjen Sekularac Leads the WPT Vienna Final Table

WPT Vienna Day 4 is over and our final table is set. It has taken us five days to break 396 players down to the final six and the man with the sizeable advantage is European circuit regular Ognjen Sekularac. Sekularac, who has two WPT cashes to his name, will start the final table with 3,930,000 in chips.

Morten Christensen raises to 60,000 and Maximilian Senft moves all-in for around 800,000. The action folds around to Christensen and he really is going through the mill. He eventually makes the call and as it transpires it is not a good decision.

If you ever wonder how tight players manage to get paid off then read on.
Ben Wilinofsky raises to 60,000 in early position, Manuel Mutke three-bets to 140,000 in the cutoff and Konstantin Tolokno moves all-in from the small blind for 625,000. This is only the second hand that Tolokno has played in the past three or four levels so he must have AA, KK, QQ or AK only. Wilinofsky folds but Mutke makes the call with 3

Ognjen Sekularac raises to 60,000 in early position and Ben Wilinofsky three-bets to 160,000 in the next seat. The action folds back around to Sekularac and he four-bets to 315,000 and Wilinofsky calls.

Goswin Seimsen raises to 50,000 under the gun, Morten Christensen calls next door, Norbert Szecsi also calls in the hijack before Ognjen Sekularac gets interested from the small blind. He asks Christensen how much he is playing before three-betting to 172,000. Seimsen folds but Christensen moves all-in causing Szecsi to also fold. Back to Sekularac and he asks for a count and the total is 773,000.
"You show if I fold…my friend?" Sekularac asks Christensen who remains unmoved.
Eventually Sekularac folds and we move on to the next hand.

Four-Bet by Szecsi

Ben Wilinofsky makes it 50,000 in early position, Manuel Mutke three-bets to 130,000 in the cutoff and Norbert Szecsi tanks for an eternity before four-betting to 275,000. In the meantime both players have had plenty of time to decide their next course of action which was to fold instantly.
