Photo: Will Failla (left) reacts after seeing that he is ahead after the flop. Also pictured, from left to right: Nenad Medic, Josh Bergman, and Justin Young.

Will Failla moves all in before the flop from late position, Josh Bergman calls from the small blind and Justin Young re-shoves from the big blind. After a minute in the tank, Bergman folds.

Failla shows 10club10spade while Young shows AdiamondKclub.

The board comes Jdiamond5spade5heart6heart3spade, and Failla triples up.

Will Failla - 400,000
Justin Young - 1,500,000

Justin Young Doubles Thru Roger Teska

Level 20: 10,000-20,000, 3,000 ante

Roger Teska raises to 50,000 from under the gun and Justin Young moves all-in for 495,000 total from the big blind.  Teska thinks a minute before calling with 9diamond9heart and Young shows AdiamondQclub.

The flop comes down Qheart8spade7spade to give Young the best hand.  Teska fails to improve with the Aclub on the turn and the 3spade on the river and Young takes the pot.

"Scotch level is always the best level," Young tells the table as he takes a sip of his drink.  All tournament long, Young has spent the last ninety-minute level sipping on scotch.  The beverages seem to work well for Young, as he has chipped up quite a bit during the final level the past couple of days.

Justin Young - 1,000,000 (50 BBs)
Roger Teska - 720,000 (36 BBs)

Bubble Bursts: Hafiz Khan Out in 28th Place ($0)

Level 18: 6,000-12,000, 2,000 ante

Hand-for-hand play on the money bubble didn't last particularly long, and the final hand was so subtle and quiet that most people in the room didn't even realize someone had busted.

Hafiz Khan is all in preflop with A-A, and he's a big favorite to double up against Justin Young's J-J. But a jack on the turn reverses their fortunes, as Young wins the pot to eliminate Khan in 28th place.

Nobody at the table reacts much to the bad beat, nor do they react to the fact that they've made the money. In the WPT World Championship, most of these top players aren't interested in a min-cash.

Justin Young  -  935,000  (77 BBs)
Hafiz Khan  -  Out in 28th Place ($0)

Sorted In: Featured Blog, Hafiz Khan, Justin Young, Bellagio, Tournaments, WPT World Championship, Season IX
