John Krpan and Scott Montgomery Eliminated by Andrew Lichtenberger

Level 14: 2,000-4,000, 400 ante

Note: This hand happened during the previous level when there were 83 players remaining, and is being posted out of order.

Andrew Lichtenberger raised preflop from the button, John Krpan called from the small blind, and Scott Montgomery moved all in from the big blind for 54,000. Lichtenberger and Krpan both called.

The flop came J-8-5 with two spades, and Krpan moved all in for about 70,000. Lichtenberger called, and all three players turned up their cards.

Andrew Lichtenberger:  Q-Q
John Krpan:  A-K (one spade)
Scott Montgomery:  A-Q

The turn was the 3spade, giving Krpan a flush draw for additional outs, but the river card was the 6heart, and Lichtenberger won the pot with his pocket queens to eliminate both players.

David Baker Doubles Thru Scott Montgomery

Level 11: 1,000-2,000, 300 ante

With around 14,000 in the pot and the board reading Qheart3spade2spade, Scott Montgomery bets 5,000 from the hijack, and David "Bakes" Baker raises to 14,200 on the button.

Montgomery eyes Baker's remaining stack and takes a minute before moving all-in, having Baker's 50,000 chips covered.  Baker double checks his hole cards, then calls with KspadeJspade for a flush draw.  He is up against Montgomery's 8diamond8spade.

The turn brings the Kdiamond and puts Baker out front in the hand.  The river Jheart only improves Baker's holdings and he takes the pot to double up.

David Baker - 136,500 (68 BBs)
Scott Montgomery - 53,500 (27 BBs)
