Level 40: 1,000,000-2,000,000, 300,000 ante
My first level at the North American Poker Championship went well. I got really lucky when I got it in bad with bottom set against Rhynie Campbell's top set and another players pocket aces. I spiked quads on the turn and now I'm sitting with 54,000 and the chip lead.
It's a good thing I played online this morning and got all of my bad luck out of the way. I played about 10 heads up matches and lost 8 of them. Hopefully my good luck continues here and I can avoid the bad beats from this morning.
My table isn't the greatest draw in the world but it's filled with a bunch of calling stations so I'll probably just lay back and value bet my big hands.
I'll keep you updated on my progress throughout the day.
