Bojang Puts His Stack on the Line
Level 19: 4,000-8,000, 1,000 ante
Finland’s Lauri Pesonen, who is sans grey woollen hat today, makes it 16,000 to pay from his seat under the gun. Stjepan Jokic folds but Klaus Stanek calls from the next seat over. The players then fold in turn until it is Ismael Bojang’s turn to act. Bojang is in the small blind.
Bojang checks the stack of his two opponents before moving all in for 246,000. The big blind instantly folds but Pesonen is giving his actions much more thought. From the way he is looking at Stanek it appears Pesonen is more worried about what hands Stanek flats an UTG raise with. Eventually Pesonen lets his hand go and Stanek’s hand hits the muck in record time.

Scott Scuppered
Level 17: 2,500-5,000, 500 ante

Kara Scott’s tournament is over after a rollercoaster ride during the last level.
After being crippled and left with just 14,000, Scott doubled with K

Johnny Hansen looked her up with the best starting hand in Hold’em – pocket aces.
The board ran out a rather uneventful K

We are now hand-for-hand and on the bubble here in the WPT Baden main event.
