Level 26: 20,000-40,000, 5,000 ante

Day 3 at the World Poker Tour Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a long one at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in South Florida. Cards got into the air for the returning field of 36 players at 1 p.m. ET and the WPT final table of six wasn’t set until 4 a.m. The final table is going to be a good one, making the long wait worth it. The wait between final tables wasn’t a long one at all for Matt Salsberg though. After finishing in sixth place at the Borgata Winter Poker Open last week, he is guaranteed to at least match that performance here in Florida.

Salsberg is joined by Matt Giannetti (final table chip leader), Darryll Fish, Danny Shiff, Lily Kiletto, and Hayden Fortini. Each of these six finalists will take home at least $50,968 at Tuesday’s final table. Here is a look at the seating chart and chip counts for the final table.

Seat 1: Matt Giannetti - 3,005,000
Seat 2: Lily Kiletto - 860,000
Seat 3: Darryll Fish - 2,660,000
Seat 4: Matt Salsberg - 980,000
Seat 5: Hayden Fortini - 1,620,000
Seat 6: Danny Shiff - 1,930,000

Tune back in tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET when cards get back into the air at the final table of six. You can follow along with the action in our hand-for-hand live updates, and watch the live stream that begins airing at 3:30 p.m. Who will walk away with $323,804 in prize money and a spot on the WPT Champions Cup? Danny Shiff's Failed Bluff Works Out Against Salsberg

Level 22: 8,000-16,000, 2,000 ante

7903 Danny Shiff vs Matt Salsberg
Photo: Danny Shiff (left) says, "This is gonna be so sick" before he calls the river bet of Matt Salsberg (right).

In the last hand before the break, WPT Champions Club member Matt Salsberg raises UTG+1 to 40,000, and Danny Shiff calls from the big blind. The flop comes KdiamondJdiamond4heart, Shiff checks, Salsberg bets 65,000, and Shiff calls.

The turn is the 5heart, Shiff checks, Salsberg bets 125,000, and Shiff calls.

The river card pairs the board with the Jclub, Shiff checks, and Salsberg bets 150,000. Shiff thinks for a little while and says, "This is gonna be so sick."

Shiff calls with 8diamond5spade -- two pair, jacks and fives. Salsberg stands up to get a better look at Shiff's cards and says, "Oh my God." Shiff says, "I was gonna bluff if the diamond came, but I caught the five." Salsberg seems stunned as he repeats, "Oh my God."

Salsberg mucks his cards without showing, and Danny Shiff wins the pot.

Danny Shiff  -  925,000  (57 bb)
Matt Salsberg  -  335,000  (20 bb)
