Jason Koon More Than Triples Up

The very next hand after Jason Koon loses the bulk of his stack, a player in middle position raises to 500, Ali Alawadhi calls from the cutoff, and Koon moves all-in for 2,600 from the small blind. The initial raiser calls, as does Alawadhi.

The flop comes J72 and the initial raiser bets 10,000. Alawadhi gets out of the way.

"I've got some hope," Koon says as he flips over AJ for top pair, top kicker. He is out front, as the other player holds J9 for top pair, nine kicker.

The turn brings the case jack, the J, and a six on the river gives Koon the pot and the more than triple up.
