Joe Sebok - Pro Blog
Level 27: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante
The entire level was interesting for me. I got into it with Justin Pechie a couple times. He was all in with A4 against my two Kings but he flopped trip fours on me. He's a good buddy of mine so we kind of just laughed it off. But I got him back later when he was all in against me with the A
10
against my two Deuces with a diamond. He spiked an Ace on the flop but it came running diamonds and my flush took him out.
I also flopped a set against one of the more aggressive players and picked up some chips there.
Unbelievably, I managed to double up in a race. I had two Queens and Adam Geyer had AK. That's usually the hand that does me in at the end of the tournament but it held up and I'm stoked. I'm probably in first or second at this point.
I'm bummed that Bear is out, we keep trying to get that father-son final table, but it's not going to happen this time. Still, it would be nice to get one for myself.

Joe Sebok - Pro Blog
Level 27: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante
We came in today and I was pretty short, but not really in desperation mode. I just kind of hung out for awhile and unfortunately I couldn't do my typical Joe Sebok thing of just hammering the shit out of everybody.
But I was lucky enough to pick up two Aces on the bubble. The small blind moved in on me and I called, obviously, but I did have to sweat the flop a bit. He had Q
10
and the flop came QJ9 with one diamond. So he had every out imaginable but luckily the turn and river were two baby hearts and I doubled up.
Barry and I are at the same table and that's always a bitch. But I have about 200,000 now so I can't really complain.

Joe Sebok and Lee Markholt Chop with Aces Full
Level 27: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante
On the board A
Q
5
5
, Joe Sebok checks and Lee Markholt, Jr. bets out 12,000. Sebok calls. The river is an A
. Sebok checks again and this time Markholt bets out 20,000. Sebok immediately says "all in".
Markholt stares at the board and finally says "I call." Sebok shows A
J
and his opponent shows A
10
. Both have identical full houses (aces full of fives), so it's a chopped pot. Sebok sighs heavily and shakes his head as he rakes in his portion.

Tides Turning
Level 27: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante
Since Joe Sebok stopped by the WPT/Cardplayer booth, things haven't been going as smoothly. He has run into top set, as well as lost an all-in pot A
K
against a short stacked opponent with 7
7
. Despite his poor luck, Sebok still has a large stack.
