7 Q and the two players in the hand are Vanessa Selbst and Matt Salsburg. Selbst has checked from under the gun and Salsburg has bet 5,000 from the hijack seat. Selbst checks how much Salsburg has behind before moving all-in, and Salsburg was like a whippet with his call. It was Qx Qx for Salsburg and A Tx for Selbst. The river is the 6
and the top set stands strong for Salsburg who doubles to 42,000.
That left Selbst with 1,775 chips and they went into the middle in the next hand.
There are four limpers before the small blind made a raise. Selbst moved all-in from the big blind and after Dan Smith tank-folded from the button, the small blind made the call. Selbst was holding K 9 and her opponent A Q. The flop of J 8 4 handed Selbst her flush, and after fading a further spade on the 8 A, turn and river, she moves up to 5,500 chips.

Vanessa Selbst raises to 300 in mid-position, Nicolas Cardyn calls one seat to his left before the player in the cutoff three-bets to 825. Back to Selbst who four-bets to 2,200, Cardyn folds but the player in the cutoff makes the call.

Philipp Gruissem and Fabian Quoss have just joined the fun, with Gruissem taking the seat of the departed Vanessa Selbst. Tristan Wade informs us that Selbst raised to 450 and received three callers that included Mickael Layani. The flop was 5x 3x 3x (two diamonds), Selbst led for 1,300, Layani raised to 3,200, everyone else folded except Selbst who moved all-in for what looked like 18,000 and Layani called. Selbst showed A 2 and Layani showed 3x 2x. A deuce on the turn sealing the fate of Selbst.

Vanessa Selbst takes her seat and is immediately facing a 400 raise from mid-position. The best female poker player in the world makes the call from the cutoff and the pair are left alone to see a flop. The dealer shows the table J 4 2 and the original raiser check-calls a 500 Selbst bet. Fourth street is the T and this time Selbst wins the pot with a 2,000 bet once checked to.
