Guillaume Darcourt Eliminated by Idris Ambraisse
Level 6: 200-400, 50 ante

We join the action with Guillaume Darcourt sat with a bet of 1,050 in front of him, and Idris Ambraisse with a bet of 2,200 in front of him. Back to Darcourt and the WPT Champions Club member moved 6,050 into the pot. This prompted Ambraisse to put enough chips into the pot to put Darcourt all-in. Darcourt pondered and gestured before eventually calling with pocket queens. Ambraisse turned over A
T
and we had a showdown.
Darcourt took to his feet as he often does in these situations. The dealer burned and turned over the A
T
9
giving Ambraisse the lead and Darcourt looked disgusted. The turn 7
and river K
sent Darcourt packing and moved Ambraisse up to 65,000 chips.

Shiekh Doubles Through Bevand
Level 4: 100-200, 25 ante

Earlier we reported a Guillaume Darcourt double up, and if you remember the casualty in that hand was Ozzy Sheikh. Sheikh was left nursing around 6,000 but now has 14,000 courtesy of the following double up.
Darcourt makes a standard raise in early position, Manuel Bevand makes the call before Sheikh moves all-in for around 6,000 from the blinds. Darcourt mucks his hand but Bevand decides to make the call. Sheikh turns over J

Darcourt Staring Into The Window of Pain
Level 2: 75-150, ante

We caught the action with chips raining down from the heavens. It was a heads-up pre flop pot and we just caught Darcourt moving all-in for 25,000. His opponent, Ozzy Sheikh, called instantly and when they turned their cards over it was Darcourt in the lead with A
A

.
Darcourt stood up and Sheikh remained seated. The dealer burned and turned the first card and it was the K
to hand Sheikh a set. But before Darcourt had time to remonstrate, the second card hit the deck and it was the A
for a higher set. The rest of the board configuration ran out 6

and Darcourt moved up to 50,000 chips, Sheikh was left with chip dust.

Guillaume Darcourt Eliminated by Casey Kastle
Level 2: 75-150, ante
WPT Champions Club members are dropping like flies. First we lost Roberto Romanello and now we have lost Guillaume Darcourt. We didn't see the hand but have received the following information from one of our French colleagues.
Darcourt raises to 400 from early position, and there is one caller before Kastle three-bets to 2,150 in the big blind. Darcourt is the only player to make the call and before you can say, "boo," the pair are staring at a flop of Q
8
4
. Kastle then surprised Darcourt by open shoving for 15,000 and after some thought Darcourt calls. Kastle turns over A
K
for the semi-bluff and Darcourt turns over K
Q
for top pair. So Kastle was heading out of the door until the A
found it's way to the felt on fourth street. The 5
on the river didn't change a thing and Darcourt was out.
Kastle ~ 45,000
