BAYWATCH! - ATLANTIC CITY
Level 27: 100,000-200,000, 20,000 ante
Unusual day today. I got a call from the New Jersey Coast Guard asking me to do a little lifeguarding on the Atlantic City beach front. I was happy to oblige. It's been several years since I donned my guard trunks in Malibu, working alongside Mitch and C.J. Good times... damn good times. Saved many a life, mended many a heart, even solved many a crime. Then poker took hold and I haven't been near the water since. But anyone who knows me knows I can't resist a cry for help and an opportunity to perform a little civic duty. That's just who I am, how I'm built, what I'm made of. Besides, they offered to pay $12/hour. How did it go? Things got a little dicey down by the boardwalk. Watch the clip and see what I mean. We were also able to follow the poker action. We got a chance to talk with Barry Greenstein and Joe Sebok together. It's a really cool clip, think you'll enjoy. Check out our Bad Beat Case File (ouch!) as well as a talk with Jennifer Tilly who is absolutely on fire lately! She plows into Day 4 with a little under one million chips! That's all for now. Time to save some baby harp seals.

Day Three Is Done!
Level 27: 100,000-200,000, 20,000 ante
I can't believe I'm writing this at 4:16PM, but we're done for the day. Just over five hours after our starting time, we've reduced our field to twenty-seven, with Russell Rosenbloom the final casualty of the day. The staff here has a confused look on their collective faces as we try to figure out what to do with our free time. In the forty-five days I worked this year's World Series, only once did a day end before midnight. Granted, Atlantic City isn't the hardest place for a collection of poker fanatics to find something to do, but still...we're in shock. Our chip leader going into day four will be Athansios Diakos. He started the day with just 249,000 chips, but he drove it up to over a million in two hours and never let go. He’s just over 1.5 million now and looking to be in strong position for a run at the TV table. Also thriving is Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Tilly, also known for her voice work on the Family Guy. Tilly has continued to surprise her skeptics, proving again that she’s more than just a pretty face. You can bet that she’ll be rallied around tomorrow. Our last player eliminated was Russell Rosenbloom. The sixth place finisher at the 2002 World Series and a season one WPT final table finisher, Rosenbloom was up and down all day, but finally he was the last to go. Now, twenty-seven players, including Diakos, Tilly, Barry Greenstein and David Sklansky begin the final run down to $1.5 million and a WPT win. Check back tomorrow for what will probably be a longer day than this one.

Jen Tilly Takes a Hit
Level 27: 100,000-200,000, 20,000 ante
It's 3:37PM and we're down to thirty players. We're five minutes into a fifteen minute break, and I'm already trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of my day. Sure, I have a few articles to write, but still, I didn't expect I'd be out of here by five.
As the break was called, Mark Newhouse was betting 30,000 on a Q

flop. Jennifer Tilly, who like Newhouse was just north of 900,000 going into the hand, raised and Newhouse went all-in.
Tilly put five good minutes of thought into the decision as flashbulbs flashed and video cameras rolled, looking miserable at the predicament she was in. She finally released the hand, but she looked unhappy about it. "I think I had you" she said. "You might be right" he answered.
