J.C. Tran busts takes out Eli Elezra with hearts...

Level 30: 250,000-500,000, 50,000 ante

Eli Elezra flops a two pair and goes all in. Little did he know that JC Tran flopped the heart flush and calls him. Eli had the [Qc,8c]. J.C. had the [6h,4h]. The flop was [Qh,8h,3h]. The turn is a 9spade. All Eli needed was another Q or 8 for a full house but the river was unkind and showed a 6diamond.

Level 30: 250,000-500,000, 50,000 ante

He's finally been able to win a hand or two and sits at 90000. A far cry from the chip leader but he's got a little breathing room.

James Woods goes over the top of a raise and stares down the other player. Player ponders for a good two minutes and folds. That's power poker at its best. Soon after Woods takes large hit in a pot and is down to around 100000 from 200000 earlier in the day.

"Unabomber" survives another all in...

Level 30: 250,000-500,000, 50,000 ante

Phil Laak survives a miracle all in as he turns over a 4,2. Player shows A,9 and Laak is in for a possible beating. The turn does nothing for Phil. The river, or for a lack of better words, the hand of God saves Laak as the dealer turns over a MIRACLE 4. This is what L.A. Poker Classic is all about.
