For the first time in recent memory, our tournament reporters knew all of these players before the tournament began -- there isn't a single amateur at the televised final table.

Three-Way All In: Joe Cassidy Out in 7th Place ($154,747)

Level 23: 30,000-60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #26  -  Joe Cassidy moves all in under the gun for 715,000, and Josh Arieh moves all in over the top from the cutoff. Steve O'Dwyer folds from the button, and Scotty Nguyen (small blind) holds his cards up off the table without protecting them, and says something like, "Oh baby, I would have called you if he didn't." (Our reporter, standing a few feet away, clearly saw Scotty's A-Q.) 

Shawn Buchanan is waiting to act in the big blind, and O'Dwyer gets upset that Scotty is holding his cards in a way that might allow Buchanan extra information. O'Dwyer says something like, "How hard is it to keep your cards on the felt? And why am I the only one concerned about it?"

Buchanan calls, making it a three-way all-in situation. Here are the hands, in descending order of chip counts:

Cassidy needs to improve to stay alive, while Buchanan is poised to double up (and then some) through Arieh.

The board comes J5475, and Cassidy flops a pair of jacks but doesn't improve beyond that. Buchanan wins the entire pot with his pocket queens.

Joe Cassidy is eliminated in seventh place, earning $154,747.

Hand #23  -  Shawn Buchanan moves all in from late position, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #24  -  Scotty Nguyen raises under the gun to 175,000, Shawn Buchanan moves all in from middle position for 1,050,000, and Scotty folds. Buchanan takes the pot. 

Hand #25  -  Faraz Jaka raises from the cutoff to 175,000, winning the blinds and antes. 

Eric Hershler Eliminated in 8th Place ($107,133)

Hand #19  -  Scotty Nguyen raises from the small blind to 160,000, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #20  -  Josh Arieh raises from middle position to 210,000, Eric Hershler moves all in for 490,000, and Arieh calls with KJ. Hershler shows A10, and he'll need it to hold to stay alive. 

The board comes J82310, and Arieh pairs his jack on the flop to win the pot. Eric Hershler is eliminated in eighth place, earning $107,133.
