Black out

Level 12: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante

- We had a spectator collapse here, blacking out for a moment and hitting his head on the table. It was a scary moment, especially since he seemed to be having trouble keeping his weary eyes open. We dispersed the crowd as the paramedics came in. Seems the guy was fine, and free booze can be dangerous. It wasn't 2 PM, but he estimated he'd had "ten or somethin'." When the medic asked if 'or somethin' meant 'more', the drunkard acknowledged tat to be the case. - Kathy has a quarter of the chips in play. I'm looking for her to start running over the competition as they look to position themselves for the final table.

Kathy Teaches Me a Lesson

Level 12: 150,000-300,000, 30,000 ante

- About a minute about posting how I'd taken Erik Cajelais against my better judgment, Kathy made me pay by taking him out of the tournament. She's hovering around T2,000,000 now. "I've been feeling really good all tournament" she told me, adding "I've made a couple of mistakes, but I've cuaght them in time." Cathy and Mimi both making the final table would be a huge coup for the WPT. On a personal level though, I'm just hoping to see it becuase it'll make for good writing and good poker while giving two classy ladies a chance to shine. - Todd Brunson came in to sit with daddy Doyle after I'd had a conversation with the elder Brunson. I asked "How badly are you going to beat those other teams?" "Pretty bad," he answered sheepishly. It wasn't enough: I pressed for a little trash talk, so he looked up with a sly smile on his face and said "I'm looking to embarass them." That was the answer I was looking for.
