Feature Table Has 4 WPT Winners
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
After some table breaks, Table 15 has developed into a murders row of World Poker Tour Champions. Seat 2: Mike "SirWatts" Watson This native Canadian and online specialist just took home $1.6 million after winning the Bellagio Cup in July. Seat 3: Gavin Smith Another Canadian from just outside of Niagara Falls has a WPT title and a WPT Player of the year title under his belt. Seat 7: J.C. Tran Possibly one of the most consistent tournament players over the past few years. Coming so close to multiple titles, JC has bubbled the TV Final table three times and made five others, eventually taking down his Championship at the World Poker Challenge in Reno. That victory helped J.C. earn the WPT Player of the Year title in Season Five Seat 9: Barry Greenstein Bobby's Room regular Barry Greenstein has two WPT titles. Already one of poker's living legends, Barry is one of the true ambassadors of the game with consistent success in multiple arenas and charitable donations from his tournament victories.

Sixty Second Spotlight: Shawn Buchanan
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
Shawn Buchanan is on the verge of becoming the latest WPT Poker-Made Millionaire hailing from Canada -- he is just less than 31,000 away from that magic mark. The protégé of former hockey player and fellow Canadian Greg "FBT" Mueller, it could be argued that the student has surpassed the teacher at this point in Buchanan’s career. Buchanan has 23 recorded cashes over his four year poker career, including eight WSOP cashes, one WSOP final table and a WPT Title as the winner of the 2007 Mandalay Bay Poker Championship. At Mandalay Bay he beat out an incredibly tough line-up. Results of the final 13 players can be found below to see just how tough Buchanan had to fight to win that event: 1st - Shawn Buchanan 2nd - Jared Hamby 3rd - David Levi 4th - Thayer Rasmussen 5th - David Haddad 6th - Danny Wong 7th - Barry Greenstein 8th - Juan Carlos "J.C." Table 27 Has Disbanded
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
The field lost 45 players during the first level, and our featured table (Table 27) with Daniel Negreanu and Steven Van Zadelhoff has already disbanded. Play will continue today for five levels or until the field reaches 99 players, whichever comes first. Our estimate is that it will take a little more than five levels to reach that number.
