Welcome to Day 3 at the WPT National Philippines Main Event

Level 20: 5,000-10,000, 1,000 ante

DSC_7929-1Welcome to Day 3 at the WPT National Philippines Main Event at Solaire Resort and Casino in Manila. There are just 27 players returning on Sunday and they will play down to the final table before the end of play tonight. The players are starting out prety short stacked today, with the the average stack returning with 28 big blinds.

The main story to keep an eye on today is the quest of WPT Commentator to make the final table in the Philippines. He holds 311,000 at the start of play, which puts him in the middle of the pack.

Sexton and everyone else will be chasing the chip leader Sonny Jennens (735,000). Mikal Blomlie is the only player close to him with 718,000, since everone else in the field holds less than half a million.

Cards get into the air at noon local time. Tune back in at that time to follow along with the playdown day in live updates, chip counts, photos, and videos.
