Eric Morris One-Outed by Charles Dolan

BLUFF Magazine owner Eric Morris limps on the button, Charles Dolan completes the small blind, and the player in the big blind checks his option.

The flop falls 765 and action checks to Morris.  He bets around 7,000, Dolan calls, and the big blinds folds.

The turn brings an offsuit 9 and Dolan checks.  Morris moves all-in for around 45,000 and Dolan calls, having him covered.

Dolan shows 34 for a flopped straight with a diamond redraw and Morris turns over 810 for a ten-high straight with a bigger flush draw.

The river bringsDolan's single out, the 5, which gives Dolan a seven-high straight flush and eliminates Morris.

"Well, it looks like we have another guy that won't be on the cover of BLUFF Magazine," tablemate Barry Greenstein quips as Morris wishes everyone luck and heads out of the tournament area.

Our average chip counts to this point have been automatically generated based on the number of players and the starting stack of chips. But since this is the only WPT event that features rebuys, there are actually many more chips in play than that.

Bari Busted By Barry

Allen Bari raises to 5,200 from middle position and the player in the hijack calls.  Barry Greenstein is on the button and makes it 26,000 to go.  Bari moves all-in for 90,000, the player in the hijack folds, and Greenstein calls iwth KK.

Bari is behind with 1001, but does manage to flop an open-ended straight draw on the 987 board, but he fails to improve with the 5 on the turn and the A on the river and he is eliminated.

Greenstein, who won this event in Season IV, is now nearing the chip lead with 270,000.

Scotty Nugyen and Michael Bower get it all-in on a flop of A-Q-10 with Bauer holding A-J to Nguyen's A-10 for two pair.  The turn is a blank, but the river brings a second queen, giving both players aces and queens, with Bower's jack kicker playing to take the pot.

"You know, poker players say they don't feel bad when they knock someone out, but I genuinely feel really bad.  He is a true gentleman," Bower admits as he stacks his chips.

Mark Seif Busts a Player

Mark Seif moves all-in on a flop of Q85 having his opponent's remaining 30,000 or so easily covered.  She thinks a while before calling with AJ for ace-high and Seif turns over Q3 for top pair with a diamond draw.

The A on the turn gives Seif's opponent the advantage, but the 6 on the river makes Seif's flush and gives him the pot.
