1B begins
Level 40: 1,000,000-2,000,000, 300,000 ante
So begins the second half of the longest day of mine or any other person’s life. 233 players have registered and begun play whether they’re here or not. After a relatively faceless day 1, the stars are out in force, so after this, I’ll be going table-to-table to see who’s where. Yesterday, after a slow start, none other than John Juanda finished with the chip lead, holding a cool T171,600 in chips. Close on his heels are Peter Valente and Canadian WPT winner Steve Paul-Ambrose. Thomas Wahlroos, Liz Lieu and John D’Agostino are all doing well. Today, Gavin Smith, Daniel Negreanu, Grinder and a host of others are lining up to take shots at the top.
