Level 34: 500,000-1,000,000, 100,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth just entered the tournament room for the first time around 5:45 pm PT, which is about 15 minutes into the fourth level. (They are only playing five levels today.) Hellmuth has been known for his late arrival to big tournaments ever since he won the WSOP Main Event back in 1989 after a late start. The extremely deep starting stacks were 45,000, and Hellmuth only lost 2,750 to the blinds and antes. With the blinds at 200-400 (50 ante), Hellmuth still has 42,250 -- more than 100 big blinds.
