Chau Giang bets T4,800 and Jean-Robert Bellande calls. Curt Kohlberg raises to T18,000 and Chau goes into the tank. He eventually folds, but then Bellande goes into the tank as well. This is a very audible version of going into the tank, as Bellande considers his options. He folds and says to Kohlberg, "I'm about fed up with this guy."

Chris Bell bets T7,000 from middle position and Amnon Filippi calls from the big blind. Seat one then moves all-in for T25,500. Bell and Amnon both call and the flop comes J103. Both Amnon and Bell check the turn and river cards that come AQ. Bell then turns over AK for a straight, Amnon turns over 77 for a flush, and seat one turns over 1010 for the higher flush. He triples up on the hand.

Two big stacks going at it... Flop comes 246. After Peter Chabot checked in the dark, Frank Flowers bets T30,000. Chabot quickly calls. Turn is the 4. Chabot now bets T50,000. Flowers goes into the tank. He stands up.... sits down. He engages some small talk with Chabot. "We you show me if I fold?" "Yes." Chabot replies. Flowers lets it go and Chabot holds good on his word and flips over 77. Flowers stares at the sevens. "I had Queens. That hurts. Do you call if I re-raise you all in?" Chabot answers, "Hell no. I'm running."

Johnny World Doubles Up

On a flop of 832 a player in the small blind bets T6,000 and John Hennigan moves all-in for T36,100 more. His opponent thinks for a few moments before making the call with 87. Hennigan shows 99. The turn is the 10 and the river is the 6 doubling Hennigan up to T85,000.

Rick Bannister Breaks The Bank

Six players see a flop of K98 for T4,800 a piece. It is checked around to Rick Bannister, who bets T14,000 and seat one calls from the button. The four other players fold. The turn card is the 9. Bannister checks. His opponent bets T14,000 and Bannister calls. The river card is the Q and Bannister checks again. Seat one bets T20,000, and Bannister raises to T40,000. His opponent then re-raises all-in for about T14,000. Bannister calls and flips over J10, his opponent angrily turns over KQ and storms away from the table. Bannister simply grins, collects the massive T110,000 pot, and says, "I had a plethora of outs."

Massive Overbet Freezes Nam

We've seen some questionable plays today on Day 2, but the following baffeled even Nam Le... Ted Lawson calls from the cut off seat and Nam Le calls from the button. The small blind folds and the big blind checks his option. The flop comes KQJ. The big blind checks, as does Lawson. Nam then bets T2,000. He is immediately raised to T30,000. *Remember, there is only T8,000 in the pot. The table chuckles as Lawson folds. When action gets back to Nam he quietly goes into the tank. After a few moment of silence Nam asks how much he has left. Nam eyes up the T70,000 in his opponent's stack and he folds.
