Michael Kamran Gets Really Lucky to Survive
Level 30: 100,000-200,000, 30,000 ante
Michael Kamran is short stacked and all in with K-J. His opponent makes a great call and shows K-Q. Both players flop a king but the rest of the cards are low, putting the possibility of a chop out of reach. The turn is another blank, putting Kamran on the brink of bubbling the tournament. The dealer turns over the river card, and it's a jack! Kamran lets out a loud yell, clearly excited about the hand with $22,000 potential. His opponent, to his credit, stays quiet as he counts out what he owes. Kamran is still short stacked with just under 90,000, but he has a lot more breathing room.
