ROYAL!

Level 2: 100-200, ante

After a flop of KheartJheart10heart and a series of raises, Paul Paris moves all in. His opponent asks, "Do you have a royal flush?" Paris doesn't respond, and his opponent thinks for a minute before he calls, saying "I'm already there." The unknown player shows 9heart7heart for a made flush, while Paris turns over QdiamondQheart. Both players have gut-shot straight flush draws, and Paris needs any heart but the eight or a runner-runner full house to stay alive. The turn is the meaningless 7diamond, but the Aheart falls on the river -- a royal flush for Paul Paris. A commotion breaks out around the table with players from other tables gathering around to see the cards. Paris says that he has been playing for 15 years and this is his first royal flush. He pulls out his camera phone to record the moment.
