Big Willie Style
Level 1: 50-100, ante
Joe Sebok and Matt Stout have been going on all level about Will Faillia’s outfit. Shouting various fashion insults back and forth between tables, Will defends his look, calling it “retro gangster”. His ensemble consists of a black 1920’s style gangster hat, a black windbreaker and extra short workout shorts. This, and more tournament pictures to come shortly.

Preliminary Player Count: 160 Players
Level 1: 50-100, ante
The field is rather small today, and we expect a lot of the traveling players chose the Day 1b start so they could stay home and vote yesterday, rather than travel. Action is starting with 19 tables, but with some empty seats we'll call it 160 players at the start of play. Registration remains open, so that number may yet increase.

WPT Foxwoods Begins at 12:00 Noon ET
Level 1: 50-100, ante
Most of the United States (and the world, for that matter) has had their eyes on the U.S. presidential election, watching admittedly proud poker player Barack Obama win a solid victory last night with record levels of voter turnout. But the poker world turns their eyes back to the tournament circuit with the WPT World Poker Finals kicking off today at 12:00 noon. Last year's field was 575 players; will the record turnout in the election spill over into a larger field here at Foxwoods? We'll have to wait and see. In the preliminary events, there were two standout victories. Vanessa Selbst, who won a WSOP bracelet this summer and finished as the runner-up in the first WPT Ladies Championship, won $115,000 in the $2,000 no-limit hold'em event. Then there was Bernard Lee, who won his third event in three years here at Foxwoods' World Poker Finals, earning more than $630,000. Bernard Lee added another final table a couple of days ago, and comes into the championship event near the top of his game. Action starts today at 12:00 noon ET, and you can follow all the action, with chip counts, photos, and video interviews with Amanda Leatherman, here at WorldPokerTour.com.
