This is the hand where John Monnette took the chip lead, before he busted Freddy Deeb and Brandon Cantu on the same hand. It's about half an hour old at this point. 

After a flop of A82, Matt Giannetti moved all in with A10 (pair of aces), only to run into John Monnette's AK (pair of aces, higher kicker). The turn and river were blanks, and Monnette won the pot with his king kicker.

Daniel Negreanu was just crippled down to 6,500 when he got it all in with Q-Q against Steve "Chainsaw" Dempsey's A-A after a five-high flop.

Luis Velador Doubles Through Vivek Rajkumar

A player enters the pot from early position, Vivek Rajkumar reraises to 20,000 from late position, and Luis Velador moves all in from the big blind for 55,900. The original raiser folds, and Vivek goes into the tank, finally saying, "I hope you have ace-king." Velador says nothing, and Vivek calls with 88. Velador shows KK. 

The board comes QJ272, and Velador's pocket kings hold up to win the pot.

Daniel Negreanu raises to 4,800 from early position and is called by a player in the big blind.  The flop comes 1063.  Action is checked to Negreanu who bets 7,200.  The big blind calls.

The turn is the J and the big blind checks again.  Negreanu bets 12,700 and is called. 

The river brings the 10 and for the third time the big blind checks.  Negreanu takes a mintue before moving all in for 45,500.  The big blind calls and Negreanu turns over JJ for jacks full.  His opponent shows the table 95 for a worthless flush.  Negreanu takes down the pot and doubles up.

Marco Johnson Eliminates A Player

A player under the gun raises to 5,500 and "Crazy" Marco Johnson makes the call from the big blind.  The flop comes J98 and Johnson checks to his opponent who bets 10,000.  Johnson then moves him all in for his remaining 25,000. 

The player under the gun calls and turns over AJ for top pair, top kicker.  Johnson has 75 for the double belly buster straight draw.

The turn is the A giving Johnson's opponent two pair, but the 6 on the river makes a straight for "CrazyMarco".  He eliminates his opponent and chips up to 112,000.

Frank Khadivi raises from under the gun to 10,000 and Dan O'Brien makes the call from the small blind.  The flop comes AA5.  O'Brien checks and Khadivi bets 20,000.  O'Brien makes the call.

The turn is the 10 and O'Brien checks again.  Khadivi continues to fire at the pot, this time for 40,000.  Again, O'Brien smooth calls.

The river brings the K.  O'Brien checks for the third time in a row.  Khadivi gives up and checks it down, showing QJ.  O'Brien is visably dissapointed that Khadivi did not fire a third shell and turns over AK for a full house.
