Online Zone Representatives
Level 30: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
Unlike the World Poker Open in Tunica, this tournament is filled with some of the online communities biggest names. The online zone is coming off of a strong finish by "sowerss" and "durrrr" in the 5k preliminary event, where they finished 1-2. Here is the list of online professionals in today's field. The list only includes a short walk through, and more players will join the field as registration is still open until the end of the second level. Noah "fourUhaters" Schwartz Carl "colson10" Olson Vivek "psyduck" Rajkumar Mike "sowerss" Sowers Luke "BdBeatSlayer" Vrabel Eric "VegasKing" Stiglets Ryan "daut44" Daut Matt "Allinat420" Stout Shaun "ShaunDeeb" Deeb Adam "AKat11" Katz Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy Matt "Plattsburgh" Vengrin Shane "Shaniac" Schleger Adam "Roothlus" Levy Paul "ComeOnPhish1" Lieu Steve "SteveBets" Jacobs Jonathan "fieryjustice" Little Kyle "kwob20" Bowker Joe "JoeytheB" Brooks Eric "Rizen" Lynch Eugene "MyRabbiFoo" Katchalov Eric "sheets" Haber John "craniac" Kranyak Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby Tom "durrrr" Dwan Thayer "Thay3r" Rasmussen There are a few that I expected to see that I haven't spotted yet, so they are either sleeping in or down in the pits. This list will be updated as the day goes on. Also, until the field shrinks a bit, the online zone chip counts will be posted every other level or so in the blog.

Nick Shulman Triples, Then Doubles Up... To 1,000 in chips
Level 30: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
Despite the fact that Nick Schulman just tripled, then doubled up, he only has 1,000 in front of him.

Schulman and his opponent, Steven Freda, got it all in. Schulman thought he was a shoo in for the double up, but Freda turned over A

to take the pot.
Schulman was left with just 150 in chips but he quickly tripled up when his K-8 hit a river gutshot to make a straight. He then doubled up when his A-7 out flopped his opponent's pocket sevens.
He is still nursing a short stack, but we'll keep an eye on him to see if he can make a comeback.

Family Reunion
Level 30: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
Joe Sebok didn't make the trip to the Gold Strike in Tunica, but his father Barry Greenstein did, finishing in the final two tables for yet another cash this season. The two have been reunited today, and are coincidentally seated at the same table. Along with them at table 27 is Daniel Shiff and John D'Agostino.

Welcome to the WPT Borgata Poker Classic!
Level 30: 50,000-100,000, 10,000 ante
We are minutes away from the start of Day 1 of the WPT Borgata Poker Classic. That's right, it's not Day 1a or Day 1b, it's just plain old Day 1. Remember the days when everyone in a tournament started at once in the same room? Yeah, neither do I. The Borgata has expanded the tournament room to accommodate more tables, and they should have more than enough room to seat everyone who wants to play. The players start with triple stacks of 30,000 in chips, and it's a great structure -- there are 30 hours of play before the big blind equals the starting stack. Stay tuned all day for live updates, chip counts, photos, and video interviews with Kimberly Lansing.
