No Luck for Matt Giannetti After Dinner
Level 40: 1,000,000-2,000,000, 300,000 ante
Matt Giannetti returned from the dinner break with a to-go box of chicken fingers, but a tournament staffer quickly informed him that there is no food allowed at the tables, other than the free snacks provided here in the room. (The free snacks include various cookies and small bags of potato chips, pretzels, and popcorn.) For Giannetti to eat his chicken fingers, he'd need to move to a small table set up about 20 feet away. Unfortunately for Giannetti, he didn't face that problem for long. A few minutes after he learned about the food rules, he was shortstacked and all in with A-3 against another player's 10-10. The board bricked out, and Giannetti was eliminated from the tournament. At least now he'll be able to eat his chicken fingers in peace.
