First Glance at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena
Level 1: 50-100, ante
Mike Sexton is joined by Vince Van Patten and the Royal Flush Girls as he announces "Shuffle up and deal" to kick off the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. As you can see by the arena-style seating behind them, this is not your typical venue for a poker tournament.

Shuffle Up & Deal
Level 1: 50-100, ante
Because of Florida's gaming laws, this is the only U.S. stop on the World Poker Tour that is open to 18-20 year-old players. As an added incentive, there is a bonus prize that goes to the deepest finishing player from that age bracket -- an electric guitar autographed by Aaron Lewis of the band Staind.
With registration open until the start of Day 2, there are still a lot of empty seats at the tables as Mike Sexton and the Royal Flush Girls kick off the tournament by saying, "Shuffle up and deal!"
The players start with 30,000 in chips, and the opening blinds are 50-100.

Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open About to Begin
Level 1: 50-100, ante
The players are starting to file into the Hard Rock Live Arena at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and play in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event is about to begin.
Players will begin with 30,000 chips and blinds at 50-100. Each level will last 90-minutes with a fifteen-minute break at the conclusion of each level. The plan today is to play five levels and call it a day. There is no dinner break scheduled into play.
There are currently over 200 players registered for the event, but registration will remain open through the start of Day 2 of play.
