Ryan Young bets 600 preflop and Alex Bolotin makes the call, as does seat 7. The flop hits AclubQdiamondJdiamond and Young raises it up. Bolotin mucks and seat 7 calls. The two players build the pot up to 13,000 by the river, after the Jspade and 6spade have joined the flop on the table. Young fires out 6,500 and his opponent calls with AheartKdiamond, but tosses his cards away when Young shows Kheart10heart for a Broadway straight.

The button bets 3,000 and Froehlich makes the call. The 4heart falls on the river and both players check. The button turns up pocket threes and Froehlich mucks his hand.

A board of AclubKheart3spade10club9club sits on the table, with 2,800 in the pot, when Brad Booth bets 2,500. His opponent in the one seat goes into the tank for a few minutes and then folds his hand. Both scores the pot and he now has 40,000.

Tuan Le Getting Aggressive

Level 28: 200,000-400,000, 25,000 ante

Tuan Le fires out 700 preflop from late position and two opponents make the call. The flop rolls out AclubKclub3club and both the big blind and middle position player check to Tuan. He once again fires out at the pot, this time for 1,500, and both opponents fold. Tuan collects the pot and he is back above 50,000 after the hand.

On a flop of Adiamond8diamond6diamond, James Van Alstyne raises to 800, and his opponent in seat 8 makes the call. The turn brings the 2heart and Van Alstyne bets 2,500. Seat 8 folds and Van Alstyne scores an early pot. He now has 58,000.

Sergey Rybachenko limps in early position and Steve "MrTimCaum" O'Dwyer raises to 500. The big blind calls, as does Rybachenko. The flop comes 9diamond8heart2diamond and it is checked to O'Dwyer, who bets 1,300. He is called by both players and the turn is the 6spade. Once again it is checked to O'Dwyer and he fires in another 4,100. This time, only Rybachenko calls and the river is the 6heart. Both players check and O'Dwyer says, "No pair." Rybachenko just shrugs his shoulders and O'Dwyer continues with, "Nut no pair." Again Rybachenko just shrugs. O'Dwyer turns over AclubKheart and Rybachenko mucks his Qspade10spade face up. After the hand, O'Dwyer is left with just over 54,000.

Daniel Alaei Eliminated Heading into the Break

On a board of AspadeQheart4heart7club Roy Winston bets 2,350 in late position and Daniel Alaei goes into the tank in the big blind - and then fires out 5,000. Winston calls and the 3heart falls on the river. Alaei bets 6,250 and Winston raises all in, putting Alaei to a decision for his tournament life. Alaei goes into the tank with about 5 and a half minutes left on the level and remains there as players go on break. He finally makes the call and Winston turns up AclubQclub. Alaei mucks and he is eliminated from the tournament on the hand. Winston is now at roughly 100,000 in chips and takes the early chip lead.
