Sebastien Ta raises to 40,000 from under the gun and Fadhil Farag places 120,000 across the line (leaving him with 13,000 behind). Toufik Ourini makes the quick call and starts to talk to Ta in French. If he wanted a call it worked because Ta did call and the three of them were sharing a 360,000 pot.
The hearty flop of J T 7 is placed down by the dealer and Ta checks to Farag and he moves his last 13,000 into the pot. The character that is Ourini places a clean 200,000 into the middle and Ta folds A J face up. When the cards are turned over it turns out to be a great fold because Farag has A Q for the nuts and Ourini T T for second set.
Farag was ecstatic until the dealer placed the T onto the turn, handing Ourini quads. Ouch! What a horrible way to go!

Arnaud Mattern raises to 35,000 and both Said El Yousfi and Sebastian Ta make the call. The flop is T 7 5 and all three players check. The turn is the 6 and Said El Yousfi moves all-in for a little over 100,000. Mattern quickly folds but Ta takes a little bit more time before eventually folding 6x 5x for two pair. Yousfi hauls in the pot and also shows 6x 5x for two pair.

Maksim Martinov Doubles Up

Jonathan Duhamel raises to 34,000 in mid-position, David Sacksick three-bets to 89,000 in the hijack before Maksim Martinov four-bet jams for around 165,000 in the cut-off. Duhamel makes the fold and Sacksick makes the call. It is the 7 7 of Sacksick versus the Q Q of Martinov with the Russian at risk of elimination - although the chances are very slim!
Board: A K 8 4 4
No slim chances rear their ugly head and Martinov and Sacksick exchange chip positions with Martinov holding 400,000 and Sacksick holding 220,000.

Angry Ourini!

Something has upset Toufik Ourini over at Table 3. With blinds at 8,000/16,000 Ourini raises to 100,000 in early position and everyone bursts out laughing. Said El Yousfi was in the small blind and he made the call prompting some more giggles.
Flop: A 9 9
Yousfi checks to Ourini who slams another 100,000 into the middle of the table. Yousfi thinks for a little while before folding and Ourini shows the table pocket aces.

Sebastien Ta and Toufik Ourini just decided to get it all in the middle. We arrived slightly late at the table so we are not sure of the betting order. Ta was holding 7 7 and Ourini was holding A Q. The board ran out well for Ta - J 9 2 4 J - and he was up to 466,000. Ourini was down to 700,000.
