Table 27: Van Zadelhoff Only Shows One Card -- Twice
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
Steven Silva raises from the cutoff to 2,500, and Steven Van Zadelhoff reraises from the button to 7,700. Silva (with about 34,500 behind) thinks for about 30 seconds before he flashes one card to Van Zadelhoff and asks if he was any good. Van Zadelhoff shakes his head, and Silva folds.
Van Zadelhoff holds his cards tightly and shows one -- the K
. He then sets his cards on the table and shows them again -- only this time the king is the K

Van Zadelhoff says something like, "Remember, I only showed you one card."

Table 27: Kerstin Tooley's Turn
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
Kerstin Tooley is the sole woman at Table 27, seated next to Daniel Negreanu. She raises from middle position to 3,000, and takes the blinds and antes. The next hand, she says, "I enjoyed that so much, I'll try it again." She raises from early position to 3,000, and everyone folds again, and she takes the blinds twice in a row. Daniel Negreanu, with about 23,700 in chips, says he folded pocket fives, and Donald Lloyd says he folded pocket sixes to her. Negreanu tells Tooley that she must be pretty respected to have two players lay down pocket pairs to her.

Daniel Negreanu's Goal in Life
Level 40: 2,000,000-4,000,000, 300,000 ante
After seeing the dealer count out the deck after a hand, Daniel Negreanu asks him if he didn't just do that a few minutes earlier. The dealer informs him that they have to count the deck twice per button round. Negreanu is shocked at this, calling it a silly rule. He wonders what kind of problem they have had in the past with players holding on to cards. Negreanu declares to the table, "I'll get this rule changed. It's my new goal in life."
