As Andy Frankenberger is exiting the tournament area, WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage yells, "Your Safe, Vince," in WPT Host Vince Van Patten's direction.
Savage and Van Patten had a bet on whether or not there would be a two-time winner over the course of Season IX. If there is no two-time winner, Savage owes Van Patten $100. If someone does manage to win two titles in a single season, Van Patten has to shave his head.
With Frankenberger's elimination in fifth place, there will be no such winner at this tournament, so Van Patten's locks are safe...for the moment.
