After a flop of Adiamond7spade7heart Loi Phan checks and Guy Laliberte bets T140,000. Loi makes the call and Laliberte says he's "All-in" on the turn. However, Guy is on the button and can not make that blind bet. When the 2club falls Loi checks and Guy keeps his word by moving all-in. Loi goes into the tank and eventually makes the call with Aheart2heart. Guy shows Kclub7club. The river is the 4club and Loi Phan is eliminated in $123,760.

After most player had left for break, the following hand occured: After a series of pre-flop raises, Kirk Morrison calls the all-in bet of Ben Johnson after several minutes of close deliberation. Johnson shows pocket kings, while Morrison shows A-K. The board comes Q-J-7-8-A , giving Morrison the winning hand on the river, eliminating Ben Johnson in 20th place. He will receive $123,760.
