Now that he is guaranteed at least second place, Carlos Mortensen has passed Daniel Negreanu to become the all-time money leader on the World Poker Tour. If he wins, Mortensen will tie Gus Hansen for the record with three WPT titles.

Carlos Mortensen raises from the small blind to 90,000, and Frank Calo calls from the big blind. The flop comes 542, Mortensen bets 150,000, and Calo thinks for a few moments before he says, "I'm all in." Mortensen says, "I call."

Calo shows 54 for two pair (fives and fours), and Mortensen turns over 33 for an open-ended straight draw. Calo needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The turn card is the 8, giving Calo a diamond flush draw and taking a few outs from Mortensen.

The river card is -- the 3!

Mortensen rivers a set of threes to win the pot and eliminate Frank Calo in third place. Calo had been the short stack many times in the past few days, but always found a way to double back into contention -- until now.
