Luis Velador Doubles Thru Kirk Morrison

Level 19: 6,000-12,000, 2,000 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger raises to 32,000 from the hijack, Kirk Morrison calls out of the small blind, and Luis Velador reraises to 92,000 out of the big blind.

Lichtenberger folds and Morrison tries to get a read.  "Talk to me," he tells Velador with a smile.  Morrison eventually calls and warns Velador that he is more than likely going to bet the flop.

The flop falls AclubJspade10heart and Morrison calls out, "Yup," before betting 50,000.  Velador raises to 170,000 total.

"No.  I do not like that at all," Morrison tells him.  He thinks a few seconds before announcing he is all-in, having Velador easily covered.  Velador calls instantly and tables KclubQclub for a flopped Broadway straight.

"Noooooo," Morrison says, grabbing Velador's arm.  He turns his hand over and shows AspadeJdiamond for top two pair.

The turn brings the 4spade and the river the 9diamond and Velador's straight holds up.  The dealer counts his stack down and determines he has 769,000 chips, and Morrison's stack is cut in half.

Luis Velador - 1,884,000 (157 bbs)
Kirk Morrison - 925,000 (77 bbs)
