The final table at the WPT Foxwoods Poker Classic took 120 hands and six hours to complete. The excitement and drama was on full-tilt as one pro and five amateurs battled it out for the $1,331,889 first prize. Ed Jordan started the day off in the chip lead. The rest are listed below…
1) Ed Jordan - 2,510,000
2) Victor Ramdin - 1,800,000
3) Larry Klur - 1,710,000
4) Alex 'Yahtzem' Jacob - 1,030,000
5) John Russell - 643,000
6) Bruce Kater - 540,000
We suffered our first casualty 10 hands into the final table as Bruce Kater (on the button) goes ALL-IN for 532k after Victor Ramdin raised to 120k preflop. Ramdin called and the players showed their cards.

Next to go was Larry Klur, who went from 2.5 million in chips to bust out in 3 hands. In hand 89, Klur (under the gun) raised to 700k and Victor Ramdin pushed ALL-IN (big blind). This was the third time in five hands that Ramdin pushed all-in. Maybe that’s why Klur called him.

Down to two players, poker pro Victor Ramdin from the Bronx, NY started heads-up play down 2 to 1 in chips to Yale University senior Alex Jacob from Norwalk, CT. Incidentally, Alex Jacob predicated before the final table today that it would come down to him and Victor. Did he predicate the winner?
16 hands later, Alex Jacob’s fate was put into motion. Jacob limped in from the button and Victor Ramdin (big blind) goes ALL-IN…Jacob’s trap worked, he called.
