Welcome to Day 3 of the World Poker Tour Venice
Level 13: 1,000-2,000, 300 ante

Good afternoon world! Welcome to the World Poker Tour (WPT) Venice at the Casino Di Venezia in Ca'noghera. We have reached Day 3 of the WPT and Italian Wanny Piazza is at the helm with 373,500 chips. That name may well be unknown to the world of poker but the same cannot be said for the second and third placed player's Taylor Von Kriegenbergh and Marvin Rettenmaier. Von Kriegenbergh is a WPT Champions Club member after winning $1,22,340 in the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown in Hollywood earlier this year. Marvin Rettenmaier is one of the WPT's favourite stalwarts and to see him make a deep run would also be fantastic.
One other players still lurking in the field is WPT Champions Club member Roberto Romanello. Romanello is on a bit of a hot streak and we are sure to expect big things from him today. Lastly, keep your eyes on Steve O'Dwyer and Alex Dovzhenko. O'Dwyer is sitting comfortably in the pack with 197,900 and was called A Machine by one experienced poker journalist yesterday. Dovzhenko is the latest poker player who just always seems to be at the money of an tournament and he has 244,800 chips.
In a little under one hour's time (13:00 CET) action will start and we will be playing down to the final 16-players or five levels. All of that action will be brought to you from the fingertips of the keyboards housed in wpt.com towers.
