Stealing the Show

Level 26: 50,000-100,000, 1,000 ante

|:img:3408,R:|Table 47 is getting out of control. What do you do when you find yourself at a table with the chip leader, Mike Matusow and a man so boisterous that even The Mouth admits is more unstable than him???? Steve Buchner has stolen the show since we have got back from the dinner break. First he vowed that he would double up through Saul - which he did. Promptly. Then he got in a shouting match with Saul, which made The Mouth go around the room looking for a pair of headphones to buy from someone. Moments later Buchner put out a large bet on the turn when in a pot with Saul, then proceeded to get up and do a version of the cabbage patch (a worse rendition then you can imagine) while singing a "double me up" song. Matusow got on his imaginary phone and canceled his appointment with his shrink so there was room for Buchner. (Don’t worry Mike; there’s no penalty for a fake cell phone call) Breaking the tension of a long Day 2 the tough New York native's antics have proved amusing for most (including the tournament staff). A few others plow on with straight faces trying to ignore the distraction and focus on their game... After all, they are playing for $1.3 million dollars.

Steve Buchner Takes More Chips From Kevin Saul

Level 26: 50,000-100,000, 1,000 ante

With 20,000 in the pot and the board reading Jdiamond2club2diamond2heart Steve Buchner bets 25,000. The action moves to Kevin Saul who goes into the tank. As Saul thinks about calling, Buchner begins to taunt Saul by saying "I told you, you would double me up again". Buchner then stands up and starts to dance. Saul waits until Buchner sits down and then makes the call. The turn is the 3club and Saul checks. Buchner immediately moves all-in and Saul mucks his cards. As buchner collects his chips he says "thank you, I am the rookie and you are the pro. You're DONE".
