WPT Vienna Day 3: Moorman, Christensen and Stojanovic Lead
Level 15: 1,500-3,000, 500 ante
The sunshine sneaks is way through the skylight, in the cavernous Montesino, and illuminates the room. The dealers sit isolated at each table with white plastic bags for company. In 15-minutes time, 67 players will split those white bags open and continue their dream of winning a WPT title.
One player who has a better chance than most is Morten Christensen. The Dane was immense yesterday, and he finished as our chip leader on 483,000 chips. He has avoided the heavyweights in his first seat draw, but it will be interesting to see him tangle with Jurgen Reicht and Marius Pospiech.
The betting man's money must be on Chris Moorman. He was dawdling on a below average stack for most of the day but injected a little pace at the back end of his shift and finished with 411.500 to put him into second place. Moorman looks like a different man these days. He has shed a few stone and looks mean and keen. He is going to have to dig deep today because he starts on a table littered with quality, aggression and a little bit of madness. We will keep our eye on his clashes with Michael Eiler, Marko Neumann and especially third place starter Darko Stojanovic.
The action starts at 13:00 (CET) so don't stray too far from your computer screen. It's money day at WPT Vienna with 45-people getting played.
