"Cozy" Field Takes to the Felt at WPT Indiana
Level 1: 25-50, ante
It's the World Poker Tour's first stop in the U.S. Midwest, here at the Hollywood Casino in Indiana. (Not too far from Cincinnati, Ohio.) This is a riverboat casino, though you'd never know it from the inside. While this building is on the water, it feels just like any other casino on the inside.
It's a smaller field than we're used to on the World Poker Tour, with about 115 players registered when play began at 2:00 pm ET. Registration remains open for a while, and as of 2:45 pm ET, the field numbers 129.
Players begin with 30,000 in chips, and opening blinds of 25-50 (600 big blinds). The schedule says we'll be playing five full levels today, and this is a five-day tournament. But with a field with less than 150 players, there will definitely be some early days or other adjustments to the schedule.
