Dwyte Pilgrim Eliminated in 37th Place ($19,903)
Level 17: 4,000-8,000, 1,000 ante
David Williams raises to 20,000 from early position and action folds around to Dwyte Pilgrim in the small blind. Pilgrim shoves the majority of his 170,000 ships over the betting line, but leaves a small pile of 15 brown 1,000 chips behind.
Williams quickly announces, "call," and the two players start to flip over their hands. Tablemate Tony Dunst points out that technically Pilgrim did not say all-in and still has chips behind. Williams and Pilgrim put their hands down and watch as the flop comes J22. Pilgrim tosses the rest of his chips in holding AJ for two pair, aces and jacks. Williams calls with JJ for a flopped full house.
The 2 on the turn gives Pilgrim one out, as the case deuce would give him quads with an ace kicker. There is no help on the river, as it comes 5 to send Pilgrim to the rail.
