Prahlad Friedman is a 31-year-old professional poker player who has been playing since before Moneymaker's big win -- in fact, Friedman won a WSOP bracelet a few weeks before Moneymaker. Fans of televised poker might recognize Friedman from the raps that he did on a few different episodes of ESPN's WSOP coverage.

Friedman has come close to a few breakout performances, including a second-place finish to Chris "Jesus" Ferguson in an ESPN-televised 2005 WSOP Circuit Championship and two top-100 finishes in the WSOP Main Event (20th in 2006 and 64th this year). This is Friedman's fifth WPT cash and his first WPT final table.

Friedman is married to fellow professional poker player Dee Luong Friedman, and he has a stepson, Michael.
