Mike Watson has taken the chip lead after dismantling Steve O'Dwyer. O'Dwyer started like a house on fire but has not had the greatest of few levels and Watson has put an end to his Prague dream.
Watson raises from under the gun making it 11,000 to play and Steve O'Dwyer calls in the hijack. Mike McDonald is in the cutoff and he squeezes to 31,000 before Watson four-bets to 51,000. O'Dwyer is next to act and he moves all-in for 250,500. Timex has a what the hell is going on look on his face as he folds his hand and Watson says, "I guess you have got aces but I call," and we have an epic showdown.
Watson: K K
O'Dwyer: A K
Board: T 8 3 6 K
That hand put the Watson stack at 578,000 and O'Dwyer was down to 75,000. A few hands later and O'Dwyer moved that stack into the middle with Q Q and Watson called with K J. After a flop and turn of T 5 2 2 O'Dwyer was looking good for a double up, but the K made sure that all of O'Dwyers chips were now comfortably in the hands of Watson.
