Bounty Hunter! Andy Seth Busts JC Tran & Jerry Yang Back-to-Back

Level 11: 500-1,000, 100 ante

With the board showing K8510 on the turn, Shooting Star J.C. Tran is all in with K5 (two pair, kings and fives) against Andy Seth's 88 (set of eights). Tran needs a king on the river to stay alive, but the last card is the 7, and Andy Seth wins the pot.

Seth also earns the $5,000 bounty and the autographed t-shirt, which the players usually receive during the next hand, and the Bay 101 takes a photo of the player with the Shooting Star they knocked out.

One problem -- Seth gets involved in the next hand.

Shooting Star Jerry Yang raises from somewhere in early position, Seth calls, and Phil Laak says he's never played a hand with Jerry Yang in his career, so he calls as well. 

The flop comes 952, Yang bets 8,000, Seth raises to 17,700, and Laak folds. Yang reraises to nearly 40,000, Seth moves all in, and Yang calls with 55 for second set. Unfortunately for the former WSOP Champion, Seth turns over 99 for top set. 

Yang needs to catch the last five in the deck to stay alive, but the turn is the 10, the river is the 4, and Andy Seth wins the pot with his set of nines to collect his second bounty in two hands. 

By this time, J.C. Tran has autographed the t-shirt but left the area. Seth receives another $5,000 and his second bounty t-shirt, and happily poses for a photo with Jerry Yang.

About three hands later, Shooting Star Phil Hellmuth raises under the gun to 2,700, a player reraises form early position to 13,200, and Andy Seth reraises from the button to 24,400. 

Hellmuth thinks for a while, possibly considering the fact that Seth is going for his third bounty in a single orbit of the button. Hellmuth finally says, "Alright, I guess I fold."

The early-position player moves all in for 32,200, and Seth quickly calls with AK. His opponent shows QQ, and it's a race situation. The board comes J4376, and the pocket queens hold up to win the pot. Seth loses about 12% of his stack, but he is still battling for the chip lead with his close friend (and former roommate) Faraz Jaka.
