Brian Haveson was born and raised in Newtown, Pennsylvania and started playing poker at the age of three with family members. Though he maintained a strong love of the game throughout his life, he took the traditional route of schooling and career. His business sense quickly took him to the top of the corporate ladder, and he became the CEO and President of the widely popular diet brand Nutrisystem.

Brian's passion for poker took up much of his free time, and he found much success at the cash games in places like Las Vegas. He also discovered some skills in the tournament scene. By 2001, he was building a resume of significant tournament cashes, and within a relatively short period of time, he sold his stakes in Nutrisystem and resigned from the company to play poker on a full-time basis.

By 2003, Brian had made a World Series of Poker final table in the $2,000 HORSE event, showing his diversity and ability to conquer an all-star field, and he finished second in that tournament. And later that year, he found his way to the final table of the World Poker Tour's World Poker Finals at Foxwoods where he finished sixth at the TV table. His numerous WSOP and WPT cashes continue to amass while the poker world still becomes familiar with this CEO-turned-poker pro.
