Although Carmen has played poker for over 15 years, she stepped up her game and began playing online after seeing Chris Moneymaker win the WSOP. In 2004 she was able to win a seat at the WSOP by playing online. At the event, Carmen was seated next to the big stacked player, Annie Duke. Carmen said this experience was the best poker education that she could ever get. Since then she has placed in the money in several WPT events, all of which she qualified for online. Carmen is a hotel owner and also enjoys playing golf and chess.
