Chuck Kelley made a life for himself and his family as a stockbroker for most of his life, dealing in big stakes and high risk. After a successful career, he sold his business and retired to a life of travel and gaming. Though he mostly concentrates on high stakes blackjack, he began to take an interest in poker several years ago. With a friend who mentored him, he took to tournaments in the hopes of finding something exciting to do with his time.

Poker has not been a bad choice for Chuck. He began cashing in tournaments in 2005, most of which came during trips to Las Vegas. In October of 2006, he took a respectable third place in the $5000 no-limit hold'em at the Festa al Lago series at the Bellagio for over $71,000, and that may have only been the beginning.

Chuck met the World Poker Tour in January of 2007 when he played in the Borgata Poker Classic, and he made it straight through to the final table. In his first WPT appearance, he slowly and steadily worked to stay ahead of his opponents.
