Daniel Larsson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, but he now lives in Linkoping, Sweden. Daniel is a professional poker player, but he says he doesn't want to make his living this way forever. He says he has put everything else in his life aside in order to play poker, but he's trying to change his lifestyle. That's a tough proposition for a young man who makes a good living playing a game he loves.

Larsson began playing poker in high school. He says he and his friends even cut class to play the game. Daniel says he prefers to play poker online rather than live, because it's faster on the Internet and you can play several tables at a time. Daniel says he might be at a disadvantage against poker veterans in live games, but he's gained a lot of experience in his online play that can counteract that age difference a little.

So far, in his relatively short poker career, Larsson has cashed in a number of World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour events, as well as tournaments all across Europe. He made a big splash during Season Two of the WPT. He qualified for the Ultimate Poker Classic online. At the time of the event, Larsson was the youngest WPT finalist ever. In the end, it came down to the two youngest players in the final, and Larsson was knocked out in second place. He earned more than $300,000 in that event. No matter what Larsson decides to do, he's already had a very successful career in poker.
