Jeremy Tinsley was born in Nederland, Texas. When he's not playing cards, he enjoys spending time with his son. "The Kid" is used to being one of the youngest players at the poker table. His father taught him to play the game at the age of six. He's been playing ever since, eventually becoming a professional player. In 2002, Tinsley won the $500 Pot Limit Omaha event at The Third Annual Jack Binion World Poker Open. The following year, the World Poker Open was a World Poker Tour event. Tinsley made the final table of the No Limit Hold 'em Championship at that event. Also at the table were Dave "Devilfish" Ulliot and Phil Ivey. Tinsley took fifth place and more than $68,000. In 2007, Tinsley fell short of the final table of the Gold Strike World Poker Open, another WPT event.
