John Hensley stars as Matt McNamara on the hit TV series Nip/Tuck. He also put in a strong turn as Gabriel Byrne's son in the TV series Madigan Men, as well as guest-starring roles in The Sopranos, and Strangers With Candy, in between stints as a regular on TV's Witchblade. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, John developed an early love of horses, and caught the acting bug after not being cast in a high-school play. So after working a ranch in Cody, Wyoming, for two years, he took a flyer and went to New York for a week-long trip that led to him landing a theatrical manager and his new career.
